About the author
HOLLY BLOCK is the director of Art in General in New York City. GERARDO MOSQUERA, EUGENIO VALDES FIGUEROA, ORLANDO HERNANDEZ, and ANTONIO ELIGIO (TONEL) are preeminent art critics and independent curators in Havana. In addition, MOSQUERA is an adjunct curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City, and TONEL is an artist whose work is included in Art Cuba.
